test and 162 on the personality test). She opted for the Indian Administrative
Service (IAS) as her first preference.
During an interview, she shared the key factors required to
crack the UPSC exam. She said,
While I was in college, I started my preparation but it was
tough to handle both so I actually started after 2019. I would say that the key
to cracking the UPSC examination is consistent hard work, discipline and a lot
of patience. There are many sacrifices that you have to make while preparing,
like giving up on your social media life but you have to do that to stay
consistent and disciplined.
She also shared her views on the caste system and
reservation policy in India. She said,
Caste system is extremely rigid and I think it should not
exist. Reservation policy is very important for social justice and equality. It
gives opportunities to those who have been historically oppressed and
discriminated against.
